Holy week marks the journey from Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, to his meal with his friends, to betrayal by Judas, trial and execution on the cross, the resurrection on Easter. You can join us throughout the week to mark the end of the wilderness journey together.
March 24, Palm Sunday
Palm procession (10 am)
- Meet us outside the church to join in a short procession with singing and branches
Worship (10:15)
- Miguel Cruz will be preaching in Spanish, interpretation through headsets is available to English speakers
March 28, Maundy Thursday

Agape Meal (6 pm)
- This will be a vegetarian potluck and you are invited to bring a dish to share.
- We will eat, worship, and wash feet with St. Ambrose and Southeast Raleigh Table.
Worship and Footwashing (7 pm)
- Please RSVP if you plan to participate in Maundy Thursday.

Prayer Vigil and Stations of the Cross
- Signup for one hour prayer blocks to “watch and prayer” with Jesus as he invited his disciples to do. (Matthew 26:36-46)
March 29, Good Friday
Tenebrae (Light to Dark) Service (7 pm)
- We will hold our traditional service of Taize songs and Scripture readings in our regular meeting location.
March 31, Easter Sunday
Easter Potluck Brunch (9 am)
- Join us before worship for an Easter potluck.
- You are invited to bring a favorite brunch dish to share.
Easter Egg “Dash” (10 am)
- Children from RMC and Church of the Good Shepherd are invited to participate in an Easter egg dash outside the church.
Easter Worship (10:15 am)
- We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with Communion and decorating the cross with flowers.
- You are welcome to bring flowers from your yard. If you have none, there will be enough flowers to share!
