Brunch and Hymns this Summer

On the first Sundays of June, July and August Raleigh Mennonite meets at Roberts Park for Brunch and Hymns.
There will be no service at CGS on June 4, July 2 and August 6.
Bring a dish to share at 10:15. The hymn sing will begin around 11 a.m. and will also be available on Zoom.

Preparing for the Journey – Nov. 29, 2020

After the scripture was read from Isaiah 64:1-9 and Mark 13:24-37, Janet Fields provided a monologue for the first Sunday of Advent. Melissa followed that with a short homily and then invited congregants to participate in the sermon by sharing a story of a journey they prepared for.

How do we get ready during this season for Jesus to be a part of this world? We are trusting, and preparing. We are longing for the journey, even though there is a tinge of fear in the midst of that preparation.
