John 3:3 “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” We’ve studied this passage and listened to sermons. We understand Jesus is telling Nicodemus about the Holy Spirit. That by accepting Jesus we are filled with the Holy Spirit and gain eternal life. But Nicodemus has no context, nothing to help him understand. Jesus is not telling a parable, this is a literal rebirth. It’s a spiritual rebirth but just as real, and just as miraculous, as the physical kind.
