Scripture: Luke 2:22-40 – On the Road to Rejoicing
The prophet Anna–portrayed this morning by Ann–witnessed Jesus’ arrival at the temple and foretold about the hope that Jesus would bring.
What a strange Advent season it has been. Mourning the loss of life through COVID-19 and the racial injustice we continue to see. What have you grieved? What has given you hope? Congregants were given the opportunity to share out of their experiences from the past year.
Make space for this grief. Acknowledge it. Remember in the midst of all of it, Jesus came into this world to provide life, to make a way for that grief to transition into hope.
