Pastor Trey began a three-part series this Sunday on Faith, Hope and Love. Words that perhaps we’ve become so familiar with that we’ve lost some of our capacity to reflect on them. This Sunday focused on faith.
Faith is one of those words that we hear so often so we can struggle to understand it in a concrete way. Faith is best understood as the fuel behind our ethic and our action. It’s what allows us to move before we have understanding. But as the anonymous author of Hebrews tells us, faith is the reality, the assurance of what we hope for. It’s the bridge between a dream and a reality. Faith is the connective tissue between imagination and existence.
